Frozen Mint Limeade

Frothy frozen slushy filled with fresh mint and flavored with mouth-puckering lime juice. This sweet-tangy fresh mint limeade recipe is perfect for summer!

Ingredients
  

  • 1/3 cup lime juice fresh is best (about 1/2 lb)
  • 1-2 T fresh mint leaves crushed ( I prefer peppermint but spearmint can also be used)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 20 ice cubes about 2 cups
  • Lime wedges for garnish if desired

Method
 

  1. Place all ingredients in blender. Blend for 60-90 seconds until mixture is smooth with very small ice chunks.
  2. Taste, add additional sugar if desired.
  3. Pour in glasses and enjoy!
  4. Garnish with lime wedge if desired.
