Ingredients

  • 12 oz fresh cranberries
  • 1 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1-2 tablespoons orange zest
  • 6 oz raspberries fresh or frozen

Method

  1. In a 2-quart (or larger) saucepan, add all the ingredients—cranberries, sugar, orange juice, zest, and raspberries.
  2. Place the pan over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
  3. Allow everything to simmer until the berries soften and start to break down, about 5-10 minutes.
  4. Once the mixture becomes thick and saucy, remove it from the heat.
  5. Transfer to a quart-size jar or storage container and let it cool completely.
  6. Store in the fridge until ready to serve—it’ll only get better with time as the flavors blend!
