Ingredients
- 1 lb 16oz cinnamon swirl bread, cubed
- 3 granny smith apples Peeled, cored, small cubes
- 6 eggs
- 1 cup cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 1/2 Tbs cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk this milk is different than evaporated milk
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a 9x13-inch baking dish sprayed with nonstick spray, place cubed bread and apples.
- In a bowl, whisk together remaining ingredients. Pour over bread and apples.
- Gently press bread down to fully saturate.
- Bake at 350°F for 35-45 minutes. When done the bread pudding will begin to puff up in the center. This helps us know the eggs have cooked. It will be soft and slightly gooey but not runny.
- Serve warm with ice cream or cream.
