Fresh Squeezed Lemonade

A cool summer drink made with freshly squeezed lemon juice and sweetened with real sugar. A simple 3-ingredient lemonade made in a blender.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice if fresh isn't available bottled can be substituted
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 cups cold water
  • 7-8 ice cubes or an additional 1/2 cup water

Method
 

  1. Pour lemon juice and sugar in blender. Blend for 1-2 minutes until sugar is dissolved.
  2. Add ice (or 1/2 cup water) blend for additional 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  3. Pour lemon sugar concentrate into serving pitcher. Add remaining water. Stir. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

If blender is large enough, all the water can be added and stirred in blender.
