A refreshing low-carb lemonade filled with freshly squeezed lemon juice and sweetened with Whole Earth sweetener. A 3-ingredient keto-friendly lemonade!

Are you looking for a homemade sugar-free lemonade that tastes good and is really easy to make? This sugar-free lemonade is the recipe you’ve been looking for. It’s sweet, refreshing and only takes 5 minutes to make!
ONLY 3 INGREDIENTS!
This easy sugar-free lemonade only has 3 ingredients.
- Lemon juice – fresh is best but bottled is fine too.
- Zero-calorie sugar substitute – we used Whole Earth sweetener which is a 1:4 substitute (1 cup sweetener = 4 cups granulated sugar). You could also use Monkfruit sugar or another low carb sweetener but you may need to adjust the recipe to fit your sweetness preference.
- Water – in the form of water and ice cubes.

HOW TO MAKE SUGAR-FREE LEMONADE:
This homemade sugar-free lemonade is so easy to make. It literally only takes about 5 minutes to make and it’s a low-carb, keto-friendly drink.
You may find some lemonade recipes make a simple syrup using water and sugar that’s been boiled to help the sugar dissolve. I prefer using a blender to blend the sugar, water and lemon juice together.
Blending the lemonade mixture helps dissolve the sweetener without cooking. This makes for a very speedy process when making homemade sugar-free lemonade. This method is much quicker as you don’t have to wait for the lemonade mixture to cool before serving.
To make your own sugar-free lemonade it’s as simple as 1-2-3 in 5 minutes or less:
- Add water, sweetener and lemon juice to your blender.
- Blend for 1-2 minutes until sweetener is dissolved.
- Add ice cubes and pour into serving pitcher or glasses. Enjoy!
NOTE: Check your sugar substitute for sugar to sweetener ratio. The sweetener we use is Whole Earth Sweetener which has a 1 to 4 ratio. Some sweeteners such as Monkfruit sweetener is a 1 to 1 ratio. This recipe is written with a 1 to 4 ratio in mind.
PRO TIP: Don’t over sweeten your lemonade. You can always add more sweetener but once added you can’t take it away. If in doubt, use less sweetener and taste it. If not sweet enough, add a little more at a time until desired sweetness is achieved.

Sugar-Free Lemonade
Refreshing low-carb lemonade filled with freshly squeezed lemon juice and sweetened with Whole Earth sweetener. A 3-ingredient keto-friendly lemonade!
Ingredients
- 1 cup lemon juice, fresh is best but bottled can be used
- 1/4 cup Whole Earth Sweetener, see notes if using a different zero-calorie sweetener
- 3 cups water
- 1 - 1 1/2 cups ice cubes
Instructions
- In a blender, add water, lemon juice and sweetener.
- Blend for 1-2 minutes until sweetener is dissolved.
- Add ice cubes and pour into serving pitcher or glasses. Enjoy!
Notes
Whole Earth Sweetener is a stevia and Monkfruit blend zero-calorie sweetener. It has a 1 to 4 sugar substitute ratio. This means for every 1 cup of sugar you would use in a recipe, you only use 1/4 cup of this sweetener. If you choose to use a sweetener that has a 1 to 1 ratio, increase the amount of sweetener to 1 cup. If making this recipe with regular sugar you would do the same (add 1 cup rather than 1/4 cup).
PRO TIP: Don't over sweeten your lemonade. You can always add more sweetener but once added you can't take it away. If in doubt, use less sweetener and taste it. If not sweet enough, add a little more at a time until desired sweetness is achieved.

How long can this be stored and can you take it with you in an unchilled bag? My son plays sports in college an I am looking for good homemade grab and go options to replace processed beverages.
Thank you,
Lisa Mudra
This lemonade should easily keep in the fridge for 5-7 days. I’m not sure how long it would last in an unchilled bag. You could make the lemonade strong then add ice cubes when in an unchilled bag. This would help keep it cool when not in the fridge. Good luck to your son and go you for helping him go less processed! This lemonade is delicious!
