These Quick & Easy Chewy Smores Brownies are the perfect year around summer treat. So grab the marshmallows and chocolate. It’s time for SMORES, brownie style!
My family loves smores! It’s something with the way the crunchy graham cracker pairs so well with the ooey gooey toasted marshmallow and melted chocolate. YUM! Are you a sucker for smores too?!
If you are, this recipe is for you. These chewy smores brownies are so easy and delicious! I whipped up a batch of these for a dinner I was hosting after family pictures. We invited our photographer and his family over after for dinner after our shoot. New family photos coming soon!
I literally mixed them up in 5 minutes as the final touches of dinner were made. I popped them in the oven to let them cook while we ate. The timing was perfect.
For any brownie, errr… smores lover, these chewy smores brownies are sure to hit the spot!

These brownies are made what I’d consider “semi-homemade.” They are made using a store-bought milk chocolate brownie mix. I mix the brownie mix as directed (usually replacing the water with milk for a richer flavor). Next, I crush the graham crackers right in the sleeve. You don’t want them to turn to dust, you want crumbs and chunks alike.
I sprinkle half the crushed graham crackers in the bottom of the pan then carefully pour the mixed brownie batter over top. Once spread evenly, I evenly sprinkle the mini marshmallows over the batter then sprinkle the remaining graham crackers on top. I like to add a little extra with a couple handfuls of chocolate chips. You can add this is you’d like but with this being a brownie, it will be plenty chocolatey without the chips. Your choice. 🙂
Bake, slightly cool, and serve. These delicious chewy smores brownies are fantastic warm and just as delicious a day later.
After dessert was served we only ended up with a few to save for later even though we really only fed 4 adults and a few kids. Haha. They will be a hit with any brownie or smores lover.
One of the best things about this recipe is the fact that you can enjoy those sweet smores flavors without summer, fire, smoke, etc. You can enjoy this scrumptious recipe any time of year. Gotta love that, right?!
How do you like to enjoy your toasted marshmallow? As a classic smores? With cookies? Peanut butter?
