This easy 3-Ingredient Peppermint Crunch Fudge is a great treat to enjoy on a cold night or as a last-minute holiday neighbor gift. Its creamy fudge base is filled with little pieces of the classic red and white crunchy peppermint candy canes and can be made in less than 5 minutes (minus the chill time). Just in time for Christmas, let’s make a batch of this delicious Peppermint Crunch Fudge and CHILL. 😉
Hi everyone! It’s been awhile. Life has been crazy too say the least. Between holiday happenings, anticipating baby’s arrival and her actually coming, it’s been a whole month since I’ve posted. Sorry about that!
I’m happy to say I’m back and here to share this quick, easy Peppermint Crunch Fudge. With baby number 4 arriving so close to Christmas, time in the kitchen has been limited. I feel Christmas just isn’t the same without sweet Christmas goodies. With that said, this fudge was the perfect goody to add to our Christmas this year. It’s so fast to make and only has 3 ingredients in it.
Here are the ingredients you’ll need. You may already have them all in your pantry. 🙂
I started by adding the chocolate and sweetened condensed milk into a microwave-safe bowl. Then I microwaved these on high for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes or until the chocolate begins to melts. Once melted I stirred the mixture until it was smooth and creamy.
Next, I added 1/3 of the crushed peppermint candy into the fudge mixture.
Next, I lined an 8×8 inch pan with parchment paper, sprinkled 1/3 of the crushed candy canes in the bottom, and poured the fudge over the candy. Once the fudge was even and smooth on top, I sprinkled the remaining peppermint candy pieces on top and pressed them down gently.
I’m all about speed these days so I put my finished peppermint crunch fudge into the freezer to set. If you prefer, you can let your fudge set in the fridge. It will just take a little longer.
Once set, I lifted the parchment paper -lined fudge and cut it into 36 pieces. Each piece was a little bigger than 1×1 inch.
That’s it! It’s ready to enjoy. Plate it, wrap it, or eat it right out of the pan… you can’t go wrong and everyone you share it with will love it.
Stay tuned for another fantastic fudge, Jingle Bell Fudge, recipe before Christmas!
