HALLOWEEN CANDY PUMPKIN BREAD – a moist, sweet, quick bread made with pumpkin, a simple spice cake mix, and an assortment of leftover chocolate Halloween candy.
What’s in this leftover Halloween candy pumpkin bread?
I do enjoy making different kinds of quick breads from scratch but this Halloween candy pumpkin bread is hard to beat with how few ingredients it requires. This pumpkin bread is one of the most simple pumpkin bread recipes you’ll find. It only has 4 ingredients: a spice cake mix (dry), eggs, pumpkin puree, and chocolate Halloween candy. How much will this Halloween candy pumpkin bread recipe make?
- 1 large loaf or
- 3 mini loaves or
- a 9×13 pan (if you’d rather a bar) or
- 2 1/2 to 3 dozen cookies
Only have 30 minutes? Make cookies!
This recipe is easily adapted to make cookies instead of loaves of bread. Cookies typically only take a fraction of time to bake when compared to a loaf of bread. To make cookies, follow the same recipe until the end when you put the batter into loaf pans. Rather than pans, you will spoon the batter into small 2-3 tablespoon mounds on a cookie sheet and bake for 11-14 minutes until done. What kind of Halloween candy should I use:
This is the fun part. I used M&Ms, Snickers, Butterfingers, Crunch, 3 Musketeers, and Milky Ways. Any of the candies that had chocolate, peanuts, caramel, nougat or peanut butter are what we used. You’ll probably not want to use any chocolate Halloween candy you don’t like. For example, if you can’t stand Snickers because it has peanuts then don’t put that in your bread or cookies. Other Halloween candy you could use:- Reese’s Pieces
- Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
- Twix
- Hershey’s Nuggets
- Fast Break
- Mars Bar
- Milk Duds
- Payday
- Hershey’s Chocolate bar
- Kit Kat
- Whoopers
- Hershey’s Cookies N’ Cream
- Rolos
