  4. Then add about a tablespoon of pizza sauce to each dough cup.
  5. Add a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce along with any favorite pizza toppings.
  6. Bake the pizza muffins at 350°F (175°C) for about 12–15 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown.
  7. After baking, allow the muffins to cool for about 5 minutes before serving.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use regular size biscuits in a can instead of jumbo?
Yes, smaller biscuits can be used, although the cooking time may vary slightly. If using regular-size biscuits don’t split the biscuits in half.

Can I use homemade biscuits or pizza dough?
Absolutely. Homemade biscuits or pizza dough can be substituted if you prefer. Simply adjust the thickness of the dough so each muffin cup is evenly lined. You are looking for a dough thickness of about a 1/2 inch and 3 inches in diameter then you will gently stretch to fit in the muffin tin hole.

Can I use store-bought pizza dough in a tube?
Yes, store-bought dough in a tube is a convenient alternative. The dough can be cut and shaped to fit inside the muffin cups, with the same baking time applied. I like to cut the pizza dough sheet into 12 equal pieces.
